"Land of the Free"... that is such
a controversial term in this day and
age. So much is happening to our
country and world right now. It is
amazing. We have been and
will continue to be attacked by terrorists.
Within in our own borders we are
fighting one another over whether we
should have prayer in our schools,
whether we should take out the phrase
"Under God" in our pledge of allegiance.
Without prayer and God how can our
country survive?

Yesterday morning, my family and
I went to church. The music put on a
patriotic concert and it was wonderful.
Before everything, though, we said the
Pledge of Allegiance. I got about
halfway through it and couldn't go any
further. I was so choked up with
emotion. America is a wonderful
country! It is the best on the
earth! Yes, I am prejudiced.

On September 11, 2001, the World Trade
Centers were bombed by terrorists who
had taken over two passenger planes with
many people on them. Praise God,
there was not as many people on those
planes as could have
been. In Pennsylvania, more
terrorists were trying to destroy the
White House. I believe this was their goal.
Five Americans on that plane took these
terrorists and didn't allow them to do
this. They lost their lives for
their country. Let me change that:
they gave their
lives willingly for our country.
They will long be remembered.

People need to realize what a great
country we have. No, it's not
perfect. Sure, we have problems,
but who doesn't. GOD gave us this
great land so that we could be free from
dictatorship and communism and all of
these terrible things that have happened
to other countries over the years.
Thank
God for the Christian President in
office today. Thank God for
America.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!
